Carlisle 2025

Nothing happens on Sunday. Try to get there on Friday if you can.
Like friday AM?
It's an 8 hour drive, I'd have to drive down on thursday and stay the thursday night to have any sort of presence on friday. Is there a schedule or something for what goes on on friday?

Yes, Friday and Saturday are the 2 big days. Sunday they do the awards and people start clearing out by noon on it seems. That's why I like to get in Thursday evening.

All Preregistered. As of now It looks like we will we coming down with my 68 Fury, 68 Newport, 66 Monaco, 74 Monaco, 75 Monaco. Still working on getting another friend with his 68 Fury to also join us on the ride down. We usually hit the road about 4:30 - 5 AM Thursday, and hope to be in Carlisle a little after noon so we can hit some of the show; before heading to the cruise night.

Alright, I've just registered / paid. I guess I'll be driving on the Friday, to get there Friday early evening-ish, probably too late to do anything on the field. What exactly happens on the Friday anyways? Should I try to attend on the Friday? Otherwise I'll be there on the Saturday and Sunday, and I'll need a place to stay so I'm open to suggestions. I'll be crossing over at Buffalo looks like, I would guess roughly 11 am on the Friday.

I've put down FBBO as club affiliation for what that's worth.
Friday and Saturday are the busy days. I am on the road home Sunday morning.

It’s difficult to see everything and walk the swap meet in 2 days. Vendors set up Tuesday through Thursday and a lot of the cars on the show field arrive on Thursday. This show has become a Thursday to Saturday show for most. Friday is the first official day for the show. It may be difficult to get a hotel room so I would start your search soon. My drive is close to 8 hours and I will travel on Wednesday.

When we setup at the Ford show there we arrive Wednesday night and drop the trailer. Then setup first thing Thursday morning. Otherwise getting big trailers into the booth space becomes very difficult as the day wears on.

Cool! That is the day before when @Boydsdodge and I are planning to head south from Toronto. If your plans change and you want to meet up somewhere along the way on the 10th, I am all ears. No need to decide now, we've got 7 months!
I know a good spot to meet up, it has lots of Chryslers to look at.

Leave home earlier than 6am, should get to show by 2pm. Still plenty to do and people to meet, get your bearings set for the next days activities.

Even though I have a 33 hour drive I don't usually leave until Sunday afternoon.
At noon on Sunday is when the fair grounds allows the cars in the buildings to leave.
That is the best time to see them start up and sound great in the buildings.
One of the highlights of the show in my opinion. Not many people around and you can get up close and personal with some of the baddest cars at the event.
All the vendors who leave Saturday evening and sunday morning put all their parts they don't want to haul in the trash. Then the guys with kids send the kids around to pick up the stuff before the trash guys get them.
Apparently the fair grounds will cherry pick the parts, warehouse them and have a sale at some point of all the parts left at each swap. Not sure when that sale is, but I hear it happens.

My friend Brian in a kind of jokingly manner refers to them as scrap meets lol. There is some accuracy to that statement at times. But whats one mans trash is another mans treasure I suppose!
