Carlisle 2025

I just asked Mrs. Big John and she said it was like a "women's craft fair" with jewelry, scarves, handbags etc. She also said there was someone doing manicure/pedicure when she went through. Unless things have changed, there were fans running, but no AC.

Keep in mind, that was a few years ago. Things may have changed.

I recall someone saying, in a previous Carlisle discussion, that this feature had gone downhill (too).

My Plan is to be retired by July, so barring any Weddings or Funerals, I am going to start planning my trip from Fargo.
At one time I wanted to drive up through Duluth, come down between Lake Michigan and Lake Huron, then jump over to Ontario through London and Hamilton and then Drop down through the Buffalo area. Maybe catch up with the group that is coming down from Ontario. At one point I had it mapped out with Polara_500 and others a few years ago. I need to go back and find the Carlisle thread from about 3maybe 4 years ago.

For those that aren't aware, there is a big Chrysler 100th anniversary event being headed up by the WPC (Walter P Chrysler) Club in conjunction with the regular Chryslers at Carlisle event. Other national clubs, such as the National DeSoto Club (which I am very active in), Dodge Brothers Club, Airflow Club of America, and Plymouth Owners Club will join the WPC Club with special displays and a larger-than-normal turnout at Carlisle. Additionally, both the WPC Club and Plymouth Owners Club are having their national convention in conjunction with the Carlisle event. If there's a year to attend and you enjoy seeing unique Mopars, this is the year to go.

I found the route map that Polara_500 created back in the 2020 thread. I would head East from Fargo to Duluth. I am going to need some good Bug- be - gone by the time I get to Carlisle.

I just booked Hampton Inn in Mechanicsburg, staying Thursday and Friday nights. We'll leave Saturday afternoon for home.
