Hi Everyone,

I figured I would be the one to start the annual Carlisle Chrysler Nationals show post this year since I see that nobody posted it yet. Great news….. unless something catastrophic happens, I personally plan to finally make my epic return this year after not going for 2 years with my kidney health issues. So far everything is going well with my transplant and my doctors are happy with how I am doing, so hopefully everything will stay that way. I will like usual, be going with my stepdad Bob who will be bringing his yellow 1967 Fury II 6 passenger wagon with a 440 and copper bucket seat interior. It was registered today in the stock “1967-1968 C-body Stock” class, and it will be its first ever time going to this show since he has had it for 20+ years. This one in my first picture. I also put in a “Featured Vehicle” application for my stepdads copper and tan 1969 Dodge Charger too since one of the displays will be “50 years of the Charger”. This one in my second picture. We will be leaving our house at about 6:30 to 7:00 o’clock AM on Wednesday morning like usual, and convoying with roughly 4 friends. We hope to get to the field at roughly 2:00 to 3:00ish in the afternoon, but I will keep everyone updated. We are staying at the Rodeway Inn this year, which is a different place than last year. Featured displays are 100 years of the Imperial, 55 years of the 1971 Duster 340, 60 years of the HEMI, and 60 years of the Dodge Charger. Anyways lets talk about it, after all its only 7 months away! Paging all regular attendees….. @FURYGT @68_fury_ragtop @billyfury @polara71 @Big_John @ayilar @Imperialist67 @Boydsdodge @Omni @live4theking @67valiant 100 @DeltaV @HawkRod @MoPar~Man

I have registered my 2024 Dodge Durango R/T for the show field.
I heard that you sold your Ram and bought that Durango Bill, when I first heard about it i thought you bought a first gen one like mine. I can’t wait to see it if all keeps going well with me

I will be there again.
As of now we are coming down with my 68 Fury, 65 Four-Speed 300, 66 Monaco 500, 75 Royal Monaco and 70 Dart Swinger 340. Two more cars (1 C body, 1 Body) will probably also be joining us in the procession, But those are ones that are registered as of now. We will probably hit the road on Thursday about 5:30 and hopefully be in Carlisle early afternoon.

Ill be there Friday and Saturday. I typically dont bring a car on the show field, but always bring the 90 W150 and park at the armory

Park it on the show field instead. Less distance to haul any treasures you find, and it gets you admission for a passenger included should you bring a friend. I've put my rental car on the field when it was a Mopar.

Is there a "for C Bodies only.com" tent?
Last year the consensus was that all the "bodies . com" people were going to identify with the forBbodies . com for their club affiliation when they registered on the carlisle site. That got a b-bodies tent and I did go and check it out a few times but never really spent any time there. It was too bloody hot to move around the field much to tell you the truth.

Could have used a better map. Spent time trying to find this or that vendor and it just drained me.

FBBO all ready started a thread as well, as I'm on both, I've already registered and reserved my hotel, either taking the 71 Charger, and if that doesn't meet it's timeline to go, then the 78 Newport will be in it's place.

No real C-body only tent so to speak of unfortunately, like MoPar~Man said its part of the FBBO tent. Unless you count it as Daves 69 Monaco wagon because thats where we would always do a FCBO group photo

No wagon for me this year. It went to Nebraska in August/ September. Somebody else annually dependable will have to step up.
