Anyone out there with technical knowledge on possibility of doing a front steering chassis change on a 1967 Fury VIP with a 1969 Fury. If it is possible due to similar bolt points??

Can't say for sure but they were still using the same style closed end sub-frame in '69.

The Stub Frame no. The other components yes. Chrysler was real good in interchanging parts thru the years. If I remember correctly, Pitman, and Idler arms changed also.

Well thanks, reason I asked is that I have a 67 fury VIP with LHD steering box as standard in USA, the car has a RHD dash and steering column but a different conversion where there's a 90 degree then 90 degree steering setup which must have been a factory conversion. The car ended up in Australia hence I'd like to eliminate the steering diversion and make it just RHD steering box. Could I use original chassis and transfer 69 linkages etc which I have here as an Australian Dodge Phoenix factory RHD vehicle. The car has been involved in an accident so it's an ideal donor. Phew.....

If you can get your hands on the appropriate FSM's, they may have some dimensional drawings that would give you an idea if it may/may not work.

HI Mick, as an expat Aussie living in USA I can tell you that the 69 chassis out of a Dodge Phoenix will bolt right in, there are no dimensional differences between the chassis other than the fact one is RHD and the other is LHD. Just use all the Aussie components holus bolus including the steering column and under dash brake pedal assy. Don't hesitate to ask any other questions, cheers.

Normally I am good with curves from left field, but R.H.D. you got me on this one brother.
