I'm way ahead of you Stan. Already placed a bid on it. Not sire how high I'll go but we'll see.

Looks like an outstanding project. Hope one of you guys picks it up because it will be in good hands. Its amazing what the AZ sun does to the soft bits.

Yup, It's the trade off for rust free bodies. The good thing is interior work is cheaper than rust repair. Even on a back east car you usually neet seat covers on a restoration so on a Arizona car you only need an extra $500 or so to redo the foam and other soft stuff. I've been noticing lately that even cars from the cold climates have cracked dashes too. A desert car's dash might have more crackes but they both still need to be replaced.

True but you can still get lucky in the wrecking yards here up north. In 02 I found a pristine dash pad in a 70 Polara Custom that had been sitting in a Sodus NY wrecking yard for 20 years according to the owners son. The pad went into my rgtop. An exeption that proves the ruleI guess.

I'm sure there are exceptions but I've bought two uncracked dash pads from back east. One got cracked in shipping and the other cracked during instalation. Most of the uncracked ones are no longer soft and pliable.

It's all Chris'. I don't step on other member's toes. Good luck, Chris. I hope you get it. I'll pay ya when it's finished.
Do I have my choice of exterior color?

That is a nice Fury project car. My next Mopar has to be from out west!!!!!

I'm just bidding 'cause it's local and hopefully cheap but Stan if you want it to restore let me know. I don't even know what I'll do with it if I do get it. Hell the dual snorkle is worth half the opening bid.

If you win it, we'll talk. Gotta know what we're working here with. A car, parts, or scrap....
Until then, keep your damn fingers off of the air cleaner........ :weg:

Aw gee Stan it's just an air cleaner, what's the harm in me swapping it for one with one less snorkle?

The red paint is not my taste. Front end needs to come down 3".
