One day into the auction and I'm still the high (and only) bid. What do you guys think my high bid should be? The good is no shipping charges since it's local. The bad is I have no idea what I'd do with it if I bought it. Sitting for 20 years means it will need everything replaced or repaired. Riight now with my work load I hardly have time to go to the bathroom let alone restore a car for myself.

Chris, If you end up going over there check out that sweptside pick up in the first picture. I'm kinda looking for one of those.

Too bad you can't do a personal up close touchy feely with it before the end of the auction.:confused:

I probably could if I can make the time.

If you do, please ID the engine on the 65 NY'er please.

This Ny'er might have a 383 in it..... Or maybe it's a 413 from 1962/63 or a 1966 and later 440. 413's from 1963-1965 were painted orange.

He'd change his mind if some crazy European would grossly overpay I guess. :)

WOW, Sold for $1783. More than I'd pay for it. Just as well. I didn't need another car anyway.

I liked it. $750 liked it sober. $1750 liked it not sober.

Actually, if the buyer is local, it's still a very good price for someone wanting that. Dry tin, a/c, BB, Fast top...
