Christine Movie Car

In the April issue of Hot Rod Magazine there is an article about restoring one of the cars used in the film Christine. They go on to say they got another 58 Plymouth that was not in the movie and used it's shell. So is that a "movie" car they restored or a 58 Savoy that they used some of the real movie cars parts on?

It's a recreation.. Never was in a movie.

A friend of mine had a clone. I did some work on it including installing seat belts. Car drew a lot of attention wherever he took it. Unlike the main movie car, it had a dual-four 318; movie car was a 350. The license plate was supposed to have been from the movie car; don't know if that were true, but was a fun discussion piece.
