I'll be taking it easy on the road in 2 weeks driving the NYB 1,000 miles from Maryland to Indiana and Green Bay. I'll probably stop a few times in the mountains to let the motor and brakes cool down a little and do a few maintenance checks just to be on the safe side.

After living in Europe for 8 straight years I got a few speeding tickets when I got back in the U.S. 1992.

I can't keep it at or anywhere near 55 out on the interstate highway....more like between 75 & 85 in most places. I find the higher speed keeps your mind & senses focused.

Oh, you'll go nuts doing 55 in a car.. 80 is a fair speed
