NO, no, no...
122k miles
hasn't run in years.
It's a roller needing a lot of refurbishment.
Rusty in some area apparently also.
Clueless seller is the niece of the aunt of the grandather, blah blah blah...

See what you started, Peter? :D

.

Ahhh, the old CL/ebay thing about posting mileage as "22", instead of "22K", "22,000", or "122,000" miles. Still, a very nice hardtop...and now, possibly a $4K car.

The paperwork question continues. Does this still have a factory MSO, or is it actually titled? And if it DOES have a title and the original owner has passed, what paperwork does the seller have to allow the sale? Is the car in probate? Does the seller have a power of attorney that permits the sale of the car? If the car has EVER been registered, it's gonna have a title in Texas. All questions I'd be asking on this Chrysler.

"Been garage kept for 40 years! Never driven or licensed or titled! Brand new still! Need to sale bc it's in my grandparents garage n we r selling the house so it has to go!"

Who wrote up this bs ad then ?

Someone who thought it's a gold mine...

Amazed this got so much attention. I was done after I saw the cellphone screen shot pics and then the texting language in the description. This belongs in the CL WTF thread....

or 100,022 miles. If it were that number then I am not so sure the seller was clueless but if he believed that then we have a new definition for clueless.

Must have been an interesting conversation, it went downhill as soon as they picked up the phone....

Luckily there are also real sellers on CL.

I still feel even at 22 miles for a run of the mill 4 door chrysler that's been stored like a piece of furniture it's wasn't ever worth the 15,000

If that car is for real. It should have the factory tires which are date coded.

Don't forget that tires manufactured before 2000 had only three digits. Two for the week and one for the year only and not which decade. So 407 means 40th week of the seventh year of what...?
