To me the '65 and '66 Monaco 2 door Hardtops had the best looking seats of any C-body, anywhere, ever. Period. - Those obviously need new covers, but they would look great in new vinyl (or genuine leather).

I've owned my 66 for @ 10 years and the last 3-4 they seem to be popping up quite a bit more. I only saw 3 the first 5 years I had mine.

Im obviously partial to those as well (first love and all) but I think the 65-66 Sport Furys are pretty groovy.

For me, of the slabsides, the 1965 300L is my favorite, with the 66 Monaco a close second. I like the colors on this Monaco so much that in my younger days, I would already own it, especially since it is within an hour drive from me. But now I must use restraint since I have too many cars.

I have had my 66 Monaco since 1985 and I will never sell it. It is fully optioned out power everything seats,windows,antenna,trunk release,tilt-tele,A/C,am-fm with dealer installed reverberator,tinted windows,deluxe spinner wheel covers(almost nos so i keep them off the car) and lastly 440 4 barrel 350hp, dual exhuast. Auto pilot and console mounted performance indicator..I took it to Carlisle last year heres some pics.....John

Interesintg that the American models have the vents on the doors where as the Cdn version have them on the rear quarter panels...
