No chance of either of those for me.

I'm a small business owner but I didn't build the business. Obama apparently had someone do it for me somehow. I haven't figured out how, I thought I did it on my own but I guess not.

No shame for me. I am a Roofer. My dad owned a construction company when I was a kid. He was more of the starving artist type though & his business was usually a tax write off for my mom's teaching job. ;) I grew up swinging a hammer & I got into roofing full time in 1990 which made me 18 or 19 at the time. I have been in roofing ever since & I was the Vice President of Sales & Marketing for the largest residential roofing co. in the US. I started there in 1997 & worked there until 2 years ago. While I was there, we grew the company from 10MM a year in revenue to over 100MM.

I left 2 years ago & started my own company with a partner. We really are storm chasers (Stormer) but not the unscrupulous storm chasers that you may have heard about. My partner & I had plans to purchase a very successful well established local company once my non-compete agreement expires but I'm having a bit of a mid-life crisis & I think I'm gonna bow out & let my sideburns grow for a year or two.
