Convertible dutchman panel seam spacing

69-70 Polara, Fury should be the same.

I doing the rust repair we forgot to note the location of the seams, although they were completely cutout I do want to create them.

All I need are the space between them (overall, left to right)

As John said, they were filled and smoothed from the factory.

That was a trouble prone area on the convertibles. The car tends to flex there and the factory filler will crack. My friend has a 40K mile 1970 300 that's all original paint except for the dutchman and tops of the quarters because a previous owner had the cracks repaired. And not too surprising, it's cracking again. His '69 300 convertible had the same problem.

The more solid you make that area, the better it's going to hold up.
