First 25 years of 20th century, without badging, cars were largely indistinguishable by manufacturer (there were some exceptions of course).
So, how else to stand out?
The car failed (1916 to 1931), but the ads could almost be used today. The "feeling" you get from a brand remains the way cars are marketed 100 years later.
