There's something about this body style and year that intrigues me whenever I see one online or in the wild. I bet there is an organized group of collectors that relish it like we do with our cbodiesonly but I don't know enough about them to know for sure.

Here’s Betsy, my dark cherry 1996 RMW. I acquired her just 3 years ago from New England and have traced her history. I’ve put almost 20k miles on the car since then. She has visited 18 states, DC, and Ontario (Canada). @david hill helped me bring her back to a great long-distance driver condition, and she has helped me transport tons of stuff.

The GM Long Roof Forum has been a great source of information.

@david hill knows these cars inside out, and he fixed an issue with the A/C on Betsy. I am paging him because no good deed of his goes unpunished

The third one is a Cadillac forum, but as you know the FWB and RMW share a number of parts and subsystems. Quite a few RMW owners own or have owned another B-body (Caprice or Impala) and/or a D-Body (Fleetwood Brougham). Indeed, I owned a 1996 FWB that I sold to an FCBO member in fall 2024, and I found quite a bit of useful info for both Lalie (the Caddy's name) and Betsy there.

Here's a photo of Lalie as eye candy -- yes, she dark cherry too (triple burgundy in her case -- paint, leather, vinyl top):
