Couldn't Help Myself

Here's the car in it's holding cell, with some parts that might help in the cause.

This is an all too familiar feeling, that I never get a car out of this unit long enough to get the truck out! Poor thing. I'm still working on a bigger space, hope to find out soon.

I've been preaching "buy it done!" and here I go and buy a project, doable, but it will be more than the initial plan, but isn't that how they all go? Took me about two minutes to figure that out, but yeah, it's a cool car. At least I know what to look for in the swap meets!
I find it's a lot easier to just look for one era of parts... still hard to find that exact item, but I do believe the supply of parts will be the deal breaker someday when it comes to keeping our old cars on the road in the future.
A C body always barely fits on a U Haul trailer.
FIFY
I've learned it will be a lot more than I told myself! I've already torn my car apart enough, and a couple parts cars, but I'm sure there's something I missed! Parts hunting will never end...

Congrats on the latest score... I'd welcome you to the support group, but you were F'ed long before FCBO found you.... We are very happy to help enable your addiction for our amusement... let us know if you'd like us to help with the marital advice too .

On second thought, just keep the car hidden until you find a good excuse.

I was going to I tell her it was a birthday present to myself, but realized that wouldn't work. I'll figure something out.

Reminds me of a conversation last week.
Her: "So when did we get a second station wagon?"
Me: "Almost a year ago, where have you been?"
women...lol.
Flew to PA for Carlisle this year... Flew in 2016, but to Indiana to buy a car I failed to mention...
2016 at the airport
Her: "I'm glad you decided not to drive"
Text while driving home
Her: "So do I understand this right... you're bring home another car?"
2018 at the airport
Her: "If you take my parking space, I'm moving"

On the bright side, I now know how to end the relationship without all the awkward reasons...
(good thing she doesn't read these forums...)

Tracked the car back to a used car lot in Wichita Kansas, making three known owners before me. The guy I got it from just wanted to save it from getting crushed. The gentleman he bought it from, Curtis, bought it from his uncle, whose name is on the title.

The name of the dealership on the trunk is Spencers out of Wichita. Curtis said his uncle got it from there, but I doubt it that a small used car lot would make a metal tag for a car, in 2007. I tried googling the name and came up empty, so for now the trail goes cold.

I lived in Wichita in the late 70s and early 80s and there was a Spencers Dodge it was on East Douglas and I believe Rock Road at that time and I know that dealership is now gone just thought I'd help you with the info

Time to Google Earth it while at work tonight, thanks!

I think it was just north of the shopping center if memory serves me correctly, but that was a while ago so with memory being what it is. oh you all know what I mean LOL !!!!!

Google Earth put me 3 miles to the west of he intersection, not bad Google.
