Sorry, this guys garage is a cave. 1974 Dart Swinger two door originally a 225 with three in the tree, with a V8 k member swap already started. Needs lots of work. Only rust I found was one rear fender lip was starting to bubble. Trunk pan and rear rails looked really nice. Missing front seat, there is a bench in the 4 door parts car. The four door comes with the deal. The donor car also had large bolt pattern disc brakes so those spindles are getting swapped over. New bushings and ball joints are already installed in the front end parts.

The dash is torn apart chasing some bad wiring....again, I will need to pull the harness from the parts car. Gonna be a fun project, 360 based 408 stroker. Just have to decide on whether I want a 727 or 4 speed. I spent all day rearranging my shops to try and find room for these cars. I will have better pics later, it's gonna be a while before I have both cars into rollers so I can get them home.

Anyone know what all would have to swapped to get a 4 speed into the car? They make a hump for the floor, but wondering more about bell cranks and linkages.

Nice looking project you have going. By the picures and discription you have a nice solid base.

But your wagon could use some major work :p

Better keep us updated on the green machine ;) I'll forgive you that it's not a C Body then :D

Yeah, that guys garage is a mess!

Looks like a nice project car.

I think so, it's really solid and straight. He was going to drag race it. The paint stick writing in the windows was a joke his other race buddies wrote on there. Thankfully he lost interest in the car before the Lexan and roll cage went in.

Very cool project. What 8 is going in? Here is an idea for the wagon...

Looks like you pre-planned in case it gets too expensive.

LOL, that actually was a preventative measure by the guy I bought it from. It had a locking gas cap when he got it. He still has the cap and the keys...but out of fear of loosing the keys, he pulled the cap right away.

LOL, I agree with Commando " preventative measure" in case it get too expensive ;)

And besides it sounds better

If you're looking for big speed........those A-Bodies are insane with a stroked 440!

Wonder if a smelly sock would also keep away the gas thieves if you use it on a driver.

And there's that one that breaks the camel's back.......

I will be sure to report back when I reach that one. I have to find clean examples to start with. How some of these guys have the balls to resurrect some of the cars they do is beyond me. I applaud them, they have more time and energy than myself.
