You can go the Credit Freeze route but that would not stop the 3 credit cards i've had false charges on in the last year.

It's the same here as long as you report it promptly.

I just finished off the balance on a $900 credit I received for stuff I didn't buy right before Carlisle... silly me, I had paid the balance before I checked my charges... It would suck for someone who needed the cash more then the credit. My biggest problem was remembering which seldom used card had the balance on it... 99% of what I buy goes onto one card... the rest are backup/credit score material.
