I briefly talked to the owner about the car a couple of months ago. He was more than willing to discuss the details and was a very pleasant person. It's not my place to share but my take is he is very willing to talk to perspective buyers and has made it known that he would sell or trade the car but is not at all desperate to do so.
It was a fluke that we had a conversation and I was clear that I was not a buyer and only a fan of the car and story.

Oh ok, well I hope Trev can and will confirm this but it sounds like what I said that “I don’t need to sell it but make an offer” then. Good deal (pun intended)
