I bought my 70 Imperial in a auction on E-Bay from a seller in California. Was it from a member of this forum?

From all the "for sale" posts I've read here, you guys seem to have a great knowledge of these "C" bodies on the market.

I have seen while researching things about my car that I may actually have a "Y" body though it is covered by this forum. When I owned my 67 New Yorker and 72 Monaco, I never thought about alphabet models. I liked the cars.

I even have Factory "Y" parts on my 1978 New Yorker.

The last of the "Formal" Imperials were produced 1974-1975 Imperials. 1976-1978 Chrysler New Yorker's were re-skinned Imperials. The hood on my 1978 New Yorker has a "Y" stamped on the lip. There are several other body panels that have a "Y" stamped on it too.
