Good work! Maybe they will make a 69 fury bottle as well. What other interesting things are you working on these days?
I dont think so. Some people prefer originals.Great work Steve!
Now I wonder if I should put my two spares up on ebay for $300 each.
Would that be dishonest, like insider trading, or just shrewd?
Jeff
Thanks Steve, nice work. Now about those door pulls......
Last time I pursured that project, it was in CanCritters hands to work something out. He has taken some big steps to make it happen.
But then he recently underwent some surgery and is now on the mend. I am not sure where this leaves the door pull project at this point. I was hoping to be able to meet up with him when he was down here in California recently, but we couldn't connect. Hopefully we will hear something from him in the near future about his plans. He is a strong asset to this site.
So glad the Dodge models I have dont use them. But very glad there is an option for the guys that need them.On the subject of door pulls please be reminded that SMS has some of mine to re-do. God knows how long it will be before they are done. I sent them photos and then sent them my cracked originals and they quoted me $80 each + return shipping.

Bumping with a battery as well!I wouldn't hold my breath for the 1969 style bottle. It doesn't fit enough cars to generate a high demand, and being tucked down in the fender, it's not nearly as subject to damage like the '70-'73 bottle. On those cars, every time you work on the left side of the engine, the bottle is at risk of getting broken. It's right where your arm wants to be, especially when changing spark plugs and tightening the P/S belt. Owning quite a few '70-'73 C's, I can tell you the the sound of a freshly crunched washer bottle is very familiar to me.

I will consider one of these if I cant repair my original one.View attachment 249152
