directional flasher 68 newyorker

anyone tell me exactly where under the dash?, i've located the emergency flasher on the right side, but short of tearing things apart i was hoping someone could help me cheat. thanks

Drop the trim panel from under the steering wheel. Most models have a bracket that holds the flasher in close proximity to the steering column support.
