Do it yourself chrome and cad plating

I can not see how any of those kits make economic sense unless it's for Jay Leno's shop.
Plus I imagine trying to stick a bumper into a five gal. pail would be a tad cumbersome.

Sounds interesting if it would fill a long trough to put a bumper in, can't be worse than some of the **** repop bumpers out there. I have about 2 dozen door handles here most are not pitted but definitely not show worthy, and most of those were picked up off 1.00 tarps figure those some name plates, letters, and small trim would almost pay for 3.0 gal over what it would cost to send out

And what do you do with the residue when done? Probably cost you a pretty penny to properly dispose of it.
I read it a little and it mentions that it doesnt break down but can be used over and over , just top it up over time.

Put it into an empty Tide Liquid Detergent bottle, put the bottle inside a black trash can bag, bury the bag 1/2 way down your weekly trash pickup barrel and know that it's now out of your hands...
