I still want an A-100 (cargo or truck)
A friend had a 65 Chevy van and I was still a little green as a driver, never saw the geometry as an issue, the 3 on the tree was fun you could shift between 2-3 with a flick of the finger, 1-2 was easy, just push forward, the lever would auto drop on the way.
They are light weight and short wheelbase, never saw the manual steering to be an issue, then again I had been driving a 55 Chevy at the time.

I'm not familiar with the group, although I know the Milford area. I had the van for less than a year, and I sold it in August of 1996.

Actually, mine had power steering (318/727). I believe they called it a "linkage assist" type.

A/C was also an option .

The '70 Lazy Days Motorhhome my parents owned (Actually a '69, but with the camper addition it was titled as a '70.) that was built on an A-108 (Was that the longer one?) frame had both AC and power steering. Brakes were manual though.
