Door won't open from inside or outside

The latch won't disengage . Was thinking remove the door panel and open it from inside the door

I had the same problem with a late 90's Riviera. I rolled down the window and sprayed WD40 on the door linkages from the lock assembly area to the area of the interior latch. Continue to work the linkage as you spray.This did the trick for me.

Had to do that years ago, a little time and it worked like new.

This happened to my Barracuda once and I was told to jack up the car slightly on the side the door wouldn’t open. I place the jack behind the front wheel and just took the weight off a little bit (tire still on the ground). It worked - maybe worth a try

Sometimes it helps when you pull the door lock pin firmly up, while you simultaneously pull the door handle (either from the inside or from the outside).

And hold your tongue in just the right position
