I used to be a BIG Fan, went to on of the Dukesfest's and got some autograph's from the cast. Thanks for the detailed info. When I was a kid my brother and I watched the DoH religiously on Friday evenings because of the Charger and other mopars (Daisy's RR). I can't recall ever seeing a C body Chrysler in any of the episodes, must have been grounded or something that particular evening, lol. I hate watching that car being wrecked.
I believe a '70 Fury Sedan with the Bulge hood was used in a later episode along with a '72 Fury III Coupe, neither were wrecked if I remember.
The Rockford Files had a simple formula that worked, and they didn't go away from it, that's why it's timeless.Rockford Files for example you can watch at any age and state of mind, Dukes of Hazzard really hurts these days despite Daisy, and not only because of the cars. That's where you tell the good shows from the mediocre or bad ones.
The DOH started with a simple and good formula, it was rough around the edges and hardly a kids show in the first season, after that it got cartoonish.

I can still watch the first season, but the other 6 hurt to watch.
