WANTED Early closed chamber heads for a 1961 383

Looking for early closed chamber heads for my 1961 Sonoramic Commando 383. In lower Alabama. Prefer pickup 3-4 hours away. FL/LA/MS/GA. Thx.

I have a pair of early heads and they have 1.95" intake valves, odd looking. No bolt holes on end of heads.
I believe they are from a 1959 383, but not absolute.

516 heads?? Not sure when the 516's came out.....not even familiar with the Sonoramic Commando 383

I have a set of 1959 509 casting heads and a set of 1962 324 casting heads...but I'm in Buffalo NY

Of course the real question is....are you running a generator or a alternator?
59-61 heads are for generator...which mounts off the exhaust manifold...heads are not set up for alternator.
62 and up heads are set up for alternator.

You are one year off, all Chryslers were alternator in 1961. All 1961 BB heads came bolt holes on the end for alternator mounting.

Of course the real question is....are you running a generator or a alternator?

62 and up heads are set up for alternator.
