Yes, change came between 72 and 73. Was down at Pick-n-Pull in San Antonio TX back around 1990, looking for a remote release. Two NYBs sitting side-by-side. The 72 was vacuum, and the 73 was electric. (I took the vacuum one - it's idiot proof - still working perfect 30 years down the road).

Well I was wrong.I have one on my '70 Plymouth Sport Fury.
And it is indeed electrical.
