Looking good! Was your's that low? Mine was higher.
Yes I double checked the photo. I actually wondered if it should have gone all the way down. I couldn't bring myself to try and shoot the clogged lines above. It wasn't like that on the other side.

I just looked at some before pics and my core support was blacked out to the top of the little square opening on the right. I'm sure it doesn't matter as long as you can't see any gold when looking through the grill. That's the whole purpose of the blackout.
Thank you for the explanation I wonder about the reasoning. Once again Scott I appreciate your vast knowledge of our cars and my benefit of tapping into that knowledge many times over.
Did you index the hood before you removed it? How do you know it will lineup with the fenders?
I did index the hood and took many pictures of the fenders during removal. I have removed both before and everything lined up before perfectly with no adjustments. I feel pretty confident it should go smoothly again.
You think you'll drive the car next year Mike? Maybe the year after that.
I know another target completion date will come and go again on the 4th. I can now say I am honestly getting excited and no longer over whelmed. I can see a completion soon. You think you'll drive the car next year Mike? Maybe the year after that.
I'm just messing with you. For the quality of this resto, it's gone pretty quick. I just want a ride in the damn thing already.
Good quality and a steady pace. I like doing things that way also. Jazebelle looked like that when finished but after 12K miles is starting to take on the "used car" look. So enjoy it while it's fresh.
I'm hoping to see Goldie in Michigan the end of this month ....... On target Mike...?
I was working near the shop today and had 2 able bodies to help me re-install the hood. I figured it was a lot easier now with the fenders out of the way. I was correct. I should be able to get after it this weekend. No big party plans so some good hours on Goldie.
