Engine Colors & Numbers [1960 New Yorker]

1960 New Yorker 4-Door 413v8
I want to repaint my engine & would like some photos/ info regarding the engine compartment colors. Can anyone help?

Also, how can I find the engine number to check for numbers matching?

Ma Mopar didn't start stamping the vin# on the engines until '68. the best you will be able to do is find the date that is cast into the side of the block and compare it against the build date of the car which can be found on the fender tag or the build sheet of the car. Body color under the hood and if that color was a light one then some areas that can be seen through the grill will be blacked out.

If you haven't chosen your paint yet. I have had very good results with this product. It isn't the cheapest route but the color is true and if you use there degreaser and acid prep it holds up great.
