Engine Mounts

Apparently polylocs have been discontinued due to a problem with the type of rubber they've been using.

Given that they use polyurethane, not rubber, yes, the rumor-mongers might have a problem w the "rubber." I saw plenty folks still vending them, and doubt any gloomy prognoses for Schumacher mounts.

I still see them out there too so I am not sure of the truth behind the rumor. That being said they are expensive!

My mod cost 1/10th of that.

Right ON! I later went to Schumacher's website, Magnum Poly-Locs and alas! it appears that there might well be something amiss. ALL of their motor mounts are "Out of stock" which bodes ill. While PST, Mancini and others still have them, apparently Schumacher doesn't.

Pity Energy Suspension doesn't make motor mounts for our majestic old land yachts. I may also get some turnbuckle hardware and see if I can make an improved low-budge torque strap. My double tow-chain keeps Mathilda's 383 in place and the rubber absorbs the vibes....

All you need. KISS.
