Does anyone know why there's 5 or 6 different blue hardeners by Evercoat (354, 359, 360, etc)? There seems to be little information online about them and their applications. And there's little information on the tube of blue hardener I'm almost out of.

The only differences I can see is the color of the hardener, or the size of the tube.

Absolutely correct.

Cream Hardener, 4 oz. White

100340 4 OZ 12
Cream Hardener, 4 oz. Blue
100360 4 OZ 12
Cream Hardener, 1 oz. Blue
100361 1 OZ 24
Cream Hardener, 2.75 oz. Blue
100354 2.75 OZ 24
Cream Hardener, 2.75 oz. Red
100358 2.75 OZ 24
Cream Hardener, 4 oz. Keg Blue
100359 4 OZ 50

Thanks guys. I wonder what keg blue is. I assume it's just some variance on the regular blue.

There's 4oz. Blue and there's 4oz. "Keg" Blue...

As it was only $6 on Amazon, I ordered both. I'll report back when I receive both on Friday....

I did notice that the "keg blue" comes in a quantity of 50 when ordering from Evercoat. Whereas, the blue comes in a batch of 12. Maybe this is the designation?

359 4oz blue "keg" vs 360 1oz tube. Bottle for reference.

p.s., the 359, 4oz normally comes with a gallon of their product. The 1oz comes with quarts.

Oh, everyone's hung up on the word Keg. Marketing. No difference between Blue and Keg blue. You can buy 4oz blue, or a 4oz "Keg" of blue. 'muricans like Kegs.

Well, I guess I'll just cancel the 4oz 359. No point in having 2 giant tubes.

My 4oz broke during my move, had I thought about it, I should have ordered 4 1oz tubes to replace it. There'd be less to kneed every time I need to use it and get it consistent.

Don't stock up too much as the shelf life is short. After about 6 months it can start to crystalize. You can feel it through the tube when you knead it.
