Currently fabbing my Polara 500 trunk floor drop downs .I was able to fab the entire piece on the driver's side except where it mates with the quarter panels wheel opening at the bottom.
(Hard to do since there was nothing left to copy)
Can anyone provide a couple of pics that give me a better idea of how that area looks originally? Thank you !

This is all I have, both cars 69s. One thing to note, the panel has a twist to it, the panel tucks in more by the bumper, the front might be like 30^ from vertical, the rear is more like 45^

Very nice repair job! I totally agree on the twist of the drop downs. The 30 degree front bend in where it meets the bottom of the wheel opening on the quarter panel is what I'd love to see...trying to figure that one out. Thanks

Wow, almost 2 years since my last post... Life really does get in the way even in Retirement.
I decided to scratch the fabbed trunk drop downs since I was able to purchase right and left minimaly rusted quarters from Murray Park. What a can of worms that turned out to be. I disassembled the right Quarter panel to save the drop down. months later, I just finished installing the right drop down and currently fitting my quarter patch than on to the left quarter.
I promise to post again soon.
