The question of mileage on this one, here are my thoughts., neat power options, pretty clean but mileage - to me, seats give it away - wear pattern indicates mileage might be a tad higher. something id wanna dig into/chat with seller a bit and see if if records exist/persuasive proof available to document ownership history. ( owners still alive? wheres it been kept, etc., ). this one might be whatcha see is whatcha get though. its clean so maybe after verifying you just pony up what seller wants if you can verify that stuff still works/up close all is as seems.
id still proudly spin it were i a buyer.still, as it sits it appears to be wery well cared for for being ~ 6O years old.

You raise good points, chiefThe question of mileage on this one, here are my thoughts
The leather on these is the definition of premium and I think the driver’s seat may well indicate the 26k mile claim to be true. It’s definitely not 126k miles unless the primary driver weighed 90 lbs. and didn’t rest their heal on the rug while driving as there looks to be almost no wear in front of the gas pedal.
My silver car had about 136k miles when I bought it and the seat was worse off than this one although not vastly and there was a hole in the rug and the padding in front of the gas pedal that went clear to the sheet metal floor pan.
My Mobile Director is a legit 40k mile car and the interior looks very much like this one.
This car is drop dead gorgeous and IS the way you want to buy one of these.
