Feb. 2019 issue of MoPar Collectors Guide

Cbarge, Sorry to "bust your bubble", but Rob Wolf absolutely does not at all enjoy C-bodies. Why, I don't know. Not surprised that he put the Sunroof GT in there though. (how can you not), what a stunning, and rare car. He's not a C-body fan by any means, BUT if it is a GT or S/23 he may make an acceptation. Sorry I'm bashing the guy, but it seems to me its true.

You are not bashing him but rather speaking the truth. He has zero interest in them. I've always said he's only in it for the attention . I personally have zero respect for him.

No problem. I am not surprised.
Mr. Wolfe is on a totally different level and has a business to run. Hob knobbing with high dollar cars and catering to resto shops and parts vendors is what pays the bills at the magazine.
Us common folk buy the rag with our hard earned money and can only dream about what is in the pages. I cannot relate to that. I built my car. I did not ship it to a shop halfway across the country with a signed blank check.
Mr Wolfe is welcome to stop at my indoor display at Moparfest in the arena. It might get his attention it may not.
Cheers.

Cbarge, I love that YOU actually built your car. If I remember right, you won 2nd place in 65-68 C-body class at Carlisle last year. I seriously do hope that Mr. Wolf does stop at your tent at MoparFest. It'll really get the C-bodies "out to sea" Anyway some people, particularly the muscle car people, say they built their car. But they had someone else do it. I just love that most of the C-body folk, hate Mr. Wolf. I really, like the magazine and classifies but hate him in general. Seems to me he is interested in only the muscle cars. If Mr. Wolf is going to do a feature on a special C-body or any C-body in general. I'll definitely read it. Otherwise, no thanks. My stepdad said, that after he bought a C-body from a guy and stripped it to shed weight, he'll never read the magazine. He so hates him.

You can add me to the "not-a-fan" list.

He drones on about their being "over-complicated" (duh, they were a higher priced car than a Dart), "troublesome electrical" (They follow the same principal as any other Mopar. I suspect he's too dumb to realize this is related to his first complaint). Blah, blah.

The same mentality of a noted Detroit-area Mopar collector who trashed a FC8 '71 SFGT to get a date-correct HP-Stamped 440 for his GTX. These are not real Mopar people.

Boo

Thanks! yes 2nd place in my class and Celebrity Choice too!!
Carlisle has seen a growth of C bodies showing to the point parking was very tight!
Not enough room for the slabs!
It is getting to the point C's should not be ignored.

Moparfest is kinda like a Canadian version of Carlisle.
The arena there is kinda like building T where the best of the best is displayed.
at the 2018 show the organizers recognized my car and asked me to come back and display the BoaB in the arena
2019 is my year to be in the arena.
I know Mr Rob Wolf will be checking out the arena for magazine cars.
So ya never know I may just change his mind when he see my all out display and trophies and maybe bring more awareness to the big cars.
Based on the amount of people who stopped to enjoy my car at all the shows I attended, that brings awareness without the need of a magazine.
Without the big C's back in the day, at the time, there would not have been any fancy musclecars to adorn the pages of MCG.
They were the bread and butter of the Corporation.

I know that green Newport next to you. That's my stepdads friend. Rob. I seriously hope Mr. Wolf gives your car a good look and changes his mind. I heard of the Moparfest. Heard its the largest in Canada. Never been. Hope to make it someday. Hope to see you at Carlisle this coming year too

Yeah,Rob is a good friend of mine for years.
No Carlisle for me this year. Too hot,
Plus doing more other shows I never been to.
Looking forward to the FCBO show in Volo Illinois.

Do you plan on going to the MCACN (Muscle Car And Corvette Nationals) show? I just have a feeling you'll win something. It's a very big show where they feature restored stock cars (like #1 concour cars), certain "theme cars" every year (like Carlisle), and have a "barn find" section. That's all I know about it. I heard of this show too, but never been. Hope to make it someday too.
