I have this fender tag and vin number off this car that I am looking to buy. I am very new to this decoding thing. If someone could break down the vin and fender tag info, and what numbers to look for on the block. I do know where to find the different stamps on the block and trans. Wanting to match numbers on a 1968 chrysler 300.

Edit: which car are you talking about, the Dodge or the Chrysler?
Typically most Canuck Monaco 500 fastops came standard with 318's. As you shown the US models the 318 was not available making the 383 base engine. What about it makes this model not available in the US?
Ok, I thought I missed something about the car in question.Typically most Canuck Monaco 500 fastops came standard with 318's. As you shown the US models the 318 was not available making the 383 base engine.
As I mentioned the interiors were not shared with US models and used the Sport Fury interior. (Seats and door panels)
IIRC the Monaco 500 convertible was not available in US.
Sorry I was not aware the fastops were sold south of the border.
Regardless, Not many of these cars were ordered with a 440.
Thanks for the clarification of the stripe, I just glanced at it.Tire code 63 = 8.55 x14 white walls
S/H = stripe code = red horizontal stripe (the stripe at the top of the fender/door)
Thanks for the clarification of the stripe, I just glanced at it.
