what does the special handling all entail?

I don't think it has anything to do with different suspension pieces (as I originally thought). I'm sure more knowledgable people will know more about this, but as I understand it, Chrysler did this to cars that better panel fit, or better applied paint, or a nicer installed interior - so that's were the SPECIAL HANDLING comes into play................

It was an internal ordered car I believe. Executive ordered, as far as I can tell.

Could also be a high profile VIP car that they wanted to be sure was "Perfect" Maybe for a governor or other high ranking official. Some of the 4drs destined to become extended limo's might have also carried this code. The code was a catch all for something out of the ordinary. "Special Order" was used to designate out of the ordinary option codes.

Without the broadcast sheet and corresponding Y codes, you'll never know.
Could be a dealer demo also.

"Special handling " could mean many things but the basic message is "pay attention dummy"

Wasn't thinking of looking for a broadcast sheet when the car was sitting on top of another
