finally back online

Let me first introduce myself. My name is Joe and I live in TX just north of San Antonio. I own a 1962 dodge custom 880 2dr coupe,
361 P.S. Air Cond. I have held onto this car for about 9 yrs hoping to some day finish it. I have collected 2 400 motors a 413 short block. a couple of transmissions, some closed chamber heads as well as the 400s have heads on them as well and a bunch of other stuff, in the hopes of a stroker killer c body. I am struggling with selling the car as I just lost 1/2 of my right foot and it will be months/ years before I can even think about this project and I don't want it to rot away. If I do decide to let it go it has to happen on this forum because it seems to be full of guys who love these cars as much as I do. I guess only time will tell.

The car is certainly worthy of saving. More detail on the body, floors, trunk pan and dog legs would help. Stub frame condition? Has it been hit? Anything else noteworthy etc.

only rust I can find is a quarter size circle on the lower pass side rear quarter behind the wheel opening. The hood is rusted by the hinges (would like a new hood). trunk lid edge has rust (would like a new trunk lid) When I bought the car it was under a car port and about a foot of the back end stuck out. everything else looks great. I have also collected another grill with light bezels, front and rear bumpers, door hinges, rear chrome that goes around the license plate, taillight housings (I need 2 tail light lenses). unilight dist., wires, chrome for the engine, lockar shifter if I don't use the pushbutton trans. and lots more.

I will not part this car out no matter what. I had a 53 buick 2dr coupe with 54Kon it, years ago and sold it to a guy who had a convertible basket case and cut it up and never finished either of them. SO never again
