Finally decided on a name for my Fury.

My 67 is Walter. The antique plates were from my late father in laws 68 Chevy wagon

Why Proud Mary?
I know the song is about a paddle wheel but at its heart, it's about getting away from from the daily grind and crappy jobs and rolling on the big wheels, my version is 15" wheels. Proud Mary takes him away from it all. When I'm driving my fury, that's how I feel. It's my escape from the realities of life.
Also, the song was released in 69 and I've always been a fan of CCR.

I have named a few cars and had several that came with names I couldnt change. It sounds like a great name, mostly because of the statement you just made. I hope to see her this summer. The plan I'm sketching is Carlisle and Pittsburgh. I will let everyone know when I have things sorted out so you can let me know where the cruises/shows are.
