Finally my upholstery delivery day has come.

wow i will be visiting murray shortly. if it could be arranged i sure would like to see that car up close

Depends on what you mean by shortly I would think it is still 2 weeks out from completion. I'm in central Ohio, and Murray is in Tiffin which is in northern Ohio.

have`nt got him to tell me when its suitable to to visit his place yet but it will be sometime in the next 30 days. london & tiffin are not that far apart

Let me know when you are in the neighborhood. I always like to meet a new FCBO member and a fellow c-body guy. :eek:ccasion14:

What was the quote on labor I dissembled everything myself and ordered my own fabric and got a quote for 1185 for labor to do front and back seat and side panels on my 69 fury iii conv.

Went to drop off a couple things they needed at the upholstery shop. Progress being made. Everything has been dyed including removing the windshield to dye the dash. I had a couple of things that were found in salvage yards that were either broken of crispy, but now they all match. The carpet is down and the rear panels are nearly completed. Very happy with the look and feel of everything so far.

That's looking very sweet Mike, can't wait to see it progress.

Thanks Matt I can't wait to see the progress either. I think he is moving on it now. Once he decided to remove the window to dye the dash it seemed to motivate him to work on it. I really think that was what was holding everything up. My stuff is covering all his tables, so I think it is full steam ahead, finally.

Another week some more progress. The rear area is completely done and installed; panels, bench, new belts. Carpet is completely installed, front window reinstalled with new gasket. The front seats are about half way done. Front door panels and new black top left to complete.

Here is a rather lousy picture sent from the upholstery guy's flip phone, but I still makes me happy. Everything is going back to the original color and style.

When do you go pick her up?, I want to see more.

Thanks guys. We won't give me a day (probably because if he gets a car from this Mershon's http://www.mershons.com/index.asp mine gets bumped). He said he won't do a full interior until mine is done, but there has been new tops and repairs in there all summer and fall.

That being said I feel like he wants to get my car out of there. Based on his current progress I think he will have it done by next weekend.

Look at those guys, not one Mopar for sale!
