Firewall color?

The seat covers are totally incorrect. Legendary offers the best reproductions for your car. I also noticed that your rear interior trim panels have been cut for speakers.... Tough fix.

Luckily, this is not my car, this is: http://www.forcbodiesonly.com/mopar...-1967-Plymouth-Sport-Fury-convertible-project

But the pictures of this thread are from exactly the similar except for the engine (I have "only" small block 318:()

Thanks, I will check those Legendary covers.

Hi,

some more questions again:

- how about the air shield and cross bar (where the latch is), are they black or body color?
- how deep should the firewall be painted with body color or does it continue through out the bottom of the car?
- Core support black, which plants did do that and which not?

thanks,

JP

This is a 70 Dodge built in Belvidere ..... the body color is painted on the whole bottom of the body shell UNLESS it is undercoated in which case the undercoating is applied OVER the paint
note ...the air dam

My 65 built in Jefferson had the core support painted the same as the car..yellow. (And they call me mellow yellow...that's right)

Ok, so the air shield to body color and then black coating on it? This at least in 1970, but howabout 1967?

Mine was also built in Belvedere, so we could assume that they painted the black, if the Jefferson did not?
