First long trip

Had a chance yesterday to get some miles on my 65 Newport after getting all the jury rigs etc. out of it. Took about a 100 mile drive and its performed like I knew what I was doing all these months, no more around the block trials. Carried my cell phone and triple A card but not needed. It just cruised right along with traffic, jumped out and went when passing. Heater keep it nice and toasty, even if it was 34 out. A few more items, shocks, new exhaust and it will be ready for the take apart and paint game.

Nice car. Sounds like my kind of drive. Tank up. Move out. I do more driving during the summer, but sometimes during the dry winter days. My heater make hell seem like the north pole.

What hub caps look best, the ones if picture with first post of the ones now. At least its all Mopar now.

I have never liked spun discs except on real salt flat cars but your car does look good with them plus the WW's.

Looks like Plymouth from around 1957.

I like the Plymouth hub caps a little better and don't worry won't run over miss Pearl. And Yes they are 1957.
