I never got the "X Owner" car thing?

Does that equate to value?

Yes it is cool to say "this was my Grandfathers Barracuda, he purchased it new", but when selling a car what difference does it make.

All it takes is one owner to totally mess a car up.

Agreed my Challenger has been through at least five owners and I have had it since 1986. I have touched every bolt on it and have never totally restored it. Handles great with stock 14" wheels runs okay needs to come back apart to undo my stupidity, so unless it is in mint condition one owner really becomes who cares?

I have had my 70 Road Runner since 1981 and I'm the 11th registered owner .. no dealerships involved except the one the original owner bought it through. I spoke to him once too which answered a lot of questions and gave me a lot of cool info about it and why it was optioned the way it was. The car changed hands regularly with almost a year for each ... a couple slightly longer .. a few a little less but no one had it anywhere close to 2 years before I got it.

Wait. My mother gave me a plastic Jesus to put on my dashboard in 1965.
Said I was gonna need it.
I still got it on my dashboard.
