Mine is a AM/FM/CD from an 80's something. That's just what I'm gonna do to my 75 NYB. Just picked one up on Ebay for $75.. That's what's in your NYB Stan? My OE Am/Fm still works but crackles allot when it on. The OE system also has the floor button for "Distance / Local" tuning. Not removing an OE stuff, just installing the 1984-2002 unit for tunes. Can't stand those aftermarket radios that are crammed under the dash just hang'en there. Just my 2 cents.
Chrysler did make an adapter plug for the power connection, but it has been out of production for years. As for the speakers try to find a stereo harness from an "M" body, I believe they use the same rear speakers.Mine is a AM/FM/CD from an 80's something.
Just remember that you have to run new wiring to your rr. speakers. Yours are one wire, the new radio uses 2 wire.
Also buy a new plug adapter to plug into the new radio.
You also have to run an additional new hot wire to the new radio for the memory and for the day/nite setting on the display to work.
It's not a 15 minute job... lol
