The guy that bought the FK5 and planned to fix it up...but really planned on getting a free 70 440 and sure grip and selling the rest.

I had plans to cut this car to pieces. But saw it and started collecting parts and got most of everything it needs. I just dont see it coming together. I need a bigger bag of zip ties.

So... could you spend a few minutes to cover what you have or lack for the recreation of this poor unloved car? You know I'm not the one, but maybe there is another Polara fan lurking out there who would step up and take over. As I recall it had barely any rust, which automatically makes it a viable project for the eastern states. I'd want screw her together and drive her too much to wait/invest in paint and body stuff...

There's gotta be another lunatic out there somewhere...

It needs the lower quarter patched on the passenger side and bodywork.
The car isnt missing a whole lot anymore, just none of the parts are original to the car.

Okay... I see that you planned on installing the 71 interior, but did you find the donor for the FK5 interior? Does it have the auto temp box? or did you switch in the (potential) manual A/C from the 71?

I under stand some parts wont be original to the car, but what parts do you currently need to make it a complete car? Would really only be interested in the whole package if it had the FK5 interior... Otherwise I would only be interest in the superlite stuff...

Ideally that's what I'd want to see happen. I saved it from being junked. Intended on cutting it up until I saw it. That's why I collected everything I could for it.

Sure it's not correct, but it's enough to make it a car again.
