Family xmas gathering?

Monster in-law and the Father in-law. He wants to see his baby and grandson. He offered to buy a house if we'd just move down there. Too close to being unf*&^ed that I can't abandon everything here yet. But we are going to go out and survey the place. see if I can hack it, though I know i'll have to return when there's actual heat.

That area of FL is a terrible, horrible place to live. You'll hate it for more reasons than I can list.
#1 is the Gulf humidity.
When I decided Florida was the place for me, I was staying in that area. I said, holy $%#, this is nothing more than a sticky, hot, pink & baby blue Boston.
You ain't moving.

Panhandle is awesome. I spent a few months roofing in Gulf Shores, Bama. The Blue Angels practiced right over the top of us many of the days We were there.

Epcot is pretty awesome if you wanna make a road trip. All ages love Epcot & you can buy alcohol there....

Gulf Shores and Orange beach are great places. We normally stay at Fort Morgan, a little less developed, and commute to Gulf shores for the food & entertainment.

Between Panama City beach and Mexico Beach, on the east end of Tyndall AFB there is an unmarked beach off a two track that is AWESOME ....!!!!! I've never seen another person there although there is a public access. You can run naked on the beach if ya like.......
