I was hoping I could check out the W.W.II aircraft show this past weekend but my house had other ideas. I heard a sound overhead and managed to get down from the ladder to get these shots. Hemmings 021.jpgHemmings 022.jpgHemmings 023.jpg

nothing like the sight and sounds of vintage warbirds

some years ago i got to see a b-17 fly over head while i was at work

If you like looking at the war birds try to get to the National Museum of the Air Force in Dayton Ohio. Admission is free and you better plan on being there all day. Last fall I drove over ther with my father-in-law and my two oldest kids (4 & 6 at the time) to meet my dad a ( Korean War Vet). I got to have a picture take with my kids in front of a B-1 that I actually worked on in the early 90's.

Since you are in Penn.....

Have you been to both Smithsonian Air & Space Museum's?

The one by Ronald Reagan Airport in Chantilly, Va. has the Enola Gay and SR-71 and hundred's of other planes, jets, gizmo's. Well worth the visit.
