It's really funny.... I sold my A12 Roadrunner to an old friend. BTW, I had that car for 34 years.

Anyway... He had the 300 and was looking to sell the car. If he hadn't bought my car, I don't believe he would have even considered selling it. I wasn't really looking to buy another car just yet but I really liked his. One thing lead to another and since we had decided it was time to sell my Corvette, things just kind of clicked with the 300.

The car isn't perfect, and honestly, I really wanted something that wasn't perfect. The upside of it all is that mechanically, the car is really great. It's got a top that's a couple years old, a nice interior, 5k miles on the rebuilt 440, new tires, no rust, rebuilt front end and everything works. I can just twist the key and go. The paint could be better though and maybe next winter I'll get a panel or two touched up.

I haven't even brought the car home yet. LOL. We made the deal last week and we've both been too busy to hook up and get the car to my place. I'm going out of town in a couple days so we'll see if I can get it here by then. Otherwise it can sit in his garage until I get back just as easy as it can sit in mine.

Hi Big Jon, I can pass on the 'Big Jon' ....'Donkey' avatars and all this strolling about on beaches (if theres a connection then i'm surprised you haven't been arrested!!) but seriously love the 300 mate! although do I detect a fondness for mirrors or is it my eyes??
