The magazines I got were usually heavy on the 'how-to' articles. I've also got lots of Classic Auto Restorer magazines (covers just about every aspect of restoration), Practical Classics (from England), and various old Motor Trends and Hot Rod magazines from the 1950's on up. I'll be putting together some ads for them soon.

Damn. I forgot all about this. I have it sitting in front of me now. I'll scan it in the morning. I promise.

I played Beached Whale fer ah few months 'cuz of a knee operation in '90. Wife bought me a box of manila folders and I sat in the middle of the living room with every apple box full of mags I owned and a box cutter and got down to two alphabatized.? file drawers. Every artical I wanted to keep is now filed and I kept a fire going in the fire place for weeks? BTW, Ehrenberg is usually wondering around Carlisle most years too but never says too much to too many. I bought a set of "WIDE SHOULDER" acorn nuts from him off Evel-bay several years ago too. I think he still sells some stuff on there. I said goodby to all the subscriptions and gave away 4 apple boxes of American Collectable going back to the 1st issue and life iz much calmer now. Jer

That's funny that you say that, those boxes are perfect for two stacks of mags and you can basically fill them to be as heavy as you'll want to carry.

Yeah Matt. I gave 4 of those boxes (20+ years) of WPC to a car-bud retired out of the proving Grounds this past winter and when we bumped into each other a few days ago he told me he was working on getting all the pages stuck together and we both laughed long and loud.

OK. here you go. The Barge Massage:

I kept one. Ehrenberg's piece on how to upgrade a C-body suspension so it tracks like a modern contemporary cruiser. Special attention was paid to Formals.

Thanks Stan.
What month and year is that issue? I would love to find one.

Oct. 2009.

The images I uploaded are super hi-rez so they should be printable.
I was in error saying Erhenberger wrote it. It was such a good article I naturally assumed....
