Pretty sure those wires aren't going to survive longer than it takes to get it on and off the trailer. Nice color.

Wow, very nice/cool. Do you have any side shots or know where this person hangs out on any sites? Like to read up on the mods. Thanks for posting this. Also, looks like the outer lights on the rear are from a 65 unless they painted the outer part of the bezel??.
Have to agree with the wires!!?? Should been ran different for sure.:BangHead:

That just makes it all the worse. The entire car is a mish mash of ideas that don't belong together.

You don't add rutabagas and/or mayonnaise to a beef stew because you like rutabagas and/or mayonnaise.

He threw darts at a wall of pictures cut out of Hot Rod Magazine, Mopar Action and Jegs.

I see zero talent there. And I'm sure it was totally a checkbook job.

Actually, my wife does add some mayo to the stew base. Not much but a wee bit. Some kraut thing she was brought up with.

But that other word you mentioned, I have no idea what that is.

I must respectfully disagree with you there, sir. I don't personally like the pro street kind of look but that's not my car. If you like rutabagas and mayonnaise you should absolutely put them in whatever you want to put them in. I won't eat it, and most people won't, but that just means more for you...

My wife and I lived for a time in a certain Western European country that lots of folks from the US have strong negative feelings about. We were at a party once with lots of different wines and foods, and we were the only Americans there, and I was paralyzed by fear of screwing up a combination... does this wine go with that fish? Will someone mock me as ignorant if I get the rules wrong? And this native of that country totally set me at ease. He said (picture a Pepe LePew accent) "who the F cares? Drink the wines you like with the food you like to eat. No one here gives a **** about white with fish or red with meat. Those 'rules' are not really rules at all. Just enjoy the stuff you like with other stuff you like and leave the rest for someone else."

The lower quarters are supposed to roll under the body, looks like there has been some poor metal fab there. The taillamp housing look horrible, and I think the Fury (actually any c-body) has way too much rear overhang for the car to be "jacked-up". I am a too biased to opine a lot, my comparisons would be to my car and what could I say that won't came across as conceited. This> I am glad the guy has a 66 Fury III in a show, we need more of them out there.

I have to agree with you on the jacked up look. My shackles where upside down from the PO and I flipped them a few weeks ago and hated it. It looked strange being jacked up in the rear, so I flipped them back..!!

As for the car posted here, I think it's ok and whoever owns it, likes it and that's all that matters. We all have different tastes. That's what makes us different.

I totally agree with you.Everyone has a picture in their mind of what they would like their car to look like. Some like a completely factory look, others like the street rod look, and some the pro touring look. Some would keep their cars factory colors while others enjoy them painted in some late model colors. It's all a matter of personal taste. Not everyone is going to like every car,but if it's your own ride, then I say do it how you'd like it,and enjoy it while you own it,but also use common sense when your building it because eventually you may sell it and you may limit your chances if you make your car too wild.

Many like all possibilities but condition of the car you are starting with sometimes dictates the direction and the outcome.

Seems to me that no matter what someone builds, somebody else will always criticise it, any make, any model. So, I'm usually with the "build it if you like it" side of the argument. I don't like to criticise other peoples builds, but If I wanted to criticise anything on this one, it would be the underhood wiring not being re-routed away from the headers. Also, is that the wrong deck lid (trunk lid) or couldn't he find the trim for the outer taillights? I'm not too familiar with slab Furies.

In general, I do like this car.
