Since all the businesses around me use their parking lots on Fridays that is likely not going to happen. The Sunday after the cruise worked perfectly.

I totally missed this! I'll be there next year if you do it again, was out briefly on Wednesday at the Donut Cutter but was stuck parking in another lot, Thursday in West Bloomfield, and got a lap in early on Saturday, then a spot late on Saturday right before they emptied the street. Your turnout looked great!
